Trish
Moulton -
(Owner/Director, Hip-Hop, Jazz, Tap, Creative Movement,
Competition, Technique & Ballroom)
Trish has trained at Broadway Dance Center in NYC and has attended workshops from Dance Masters of America Teachers Training. In 2003 she performed with the Knicks City Dancers at Madison Square Garden. Before becoming the Owner/Director of the Dance Studio of Maine in 2001,
she was an instructor there under Carol Jordan. Other community involvements include being the
former President of the Gorham Business and Civic Exchange
and is currently on the board of directors. She
has also hosted benefit dance performances for the Barbara Bush Children's Hospital.
She has recently shot a commercial for the Dance Studio of
Maine, Inc with Blake
McGrath and Kenny Wormald of MTV. The commercial will appear on FOX's hit
television show "So You Think You Can Dance" Season 2
& 3. Trish has spent many years worth of
intensive training in Ballroom. She now brings her
talents to the Dance Studio of Maine. |

Janeen
Arnold
- (Lyrical,
Jazz, Technique, Competition)
Janeen most recently worked for Norwegian Cruise Lines
America and their newest cruise ship Pride
Of Hawaii, as a lead dancer
in their production shows. The cruise ship’s itinerary
was based in the Hawaiian Islands. Her shows included
excerpts from Wicked,
Mama Mia, Movin’
Out, All
Shook Up, and
Hairspray.
Other performances onboard the ship were a Rock n’ Roll
show and Elements
Of Illusions where
she assisted the Magician. Janeen has previously worked
for NCLA in 2005 onboard their ship The Pride
Of Aloha as well, whose
performances included
Sea Legs Cirque a
Cirque De Soleil style show. Janeen Has
also performed in showcases for Carnegie Hall and for
Disney’s The Magic Kingdom in Florida. She had training
from the Fine and
Performing Arts Center a performing arts high
school in New Jersey,
Instructors at Montclair State University and
also at the prestigious
Broadway Dance Center
in NYC. |

Maria McInnis -
(Combo, Tap, Jazz, Hip-Hop & Adult Tap Competition)
Maria started taking
dance lessons at the age of three from Miss Lorraine's
School of Dance in Rutland, Vermont studying
Ballet/Pointe, Jazz, and Gymnastics with a concentration
in Tap & Lyrical throughout her senior year in high
school. Maria continued her dance education through
college as a member of the Babson Dance Ensemble. As
the top student-run organization on campus, Maria was
able to express herself through choreography and
competition in all types of numbers from her past plus
branching out into modern, swing, funk jazz and hip hop.
Since moving to Maine in 2007, Maria has observed and
studied under Trish at the Dance Studio on Maine over
the past 7 months in a variety of classes and is looking
forward to the 2007-2008 dance season. |

Amy Drew -
(Creative Movement & Beginner Ballet)
Amy has
been involved with the Dance Studio of Maine family for
many years. She started dancing at the age of 5 with
Carole Jordan as her instructor at the Virginia Dorr
School of Dance. Twenty years later, she became an
instructor under Carole Jordan with the Dance Studio of
Maine. In 1992 she became President of The Gorham
Community Ballet Company and has enjoyed many years of
directing dance productions to benefit the Barbara Bush
Children’s Hospital as well as other children’s
charities. As now a mother of a 7 and 10 year old, she
returns to her passion of dance instruction and brings
with her a family feeling to all of her classes.

Rachel Willis- (Ballet, Pointe, Stretch, & Modern)
Rachel Willis
originally from Maine has been living and dancing in
Portland since 2000 when she joined the Portland Ballet
Company as a principal dancer. She trained at the
Walnut Hill School for performing arts and has performed
for Bangor Youth Ballet, Robinson Ballet, National Youth
Ballet, and the Port Opera. She has performed many
principal roles throughout her career but has recently
found inspiration in teaching here at the Dance Studio
of Maine where she has taught Ballet since the winter of
2006.

Betsy Nygren
-
(Creative
Movement, Combo, & Beginner Jazz)
Betsy started dancing in 1973 at the age of 3, at the Virginia Dorr School of Dance, which later would become the Dance Studio of Maine. In 1983 she became a student teacher, then started teaching in 1992 in the areas of Creative Movement, Tap & Ballet She introduces dance to young children in a way that allows them to love dancing and want to come back for more.

Tiffanie Delano - (Hip Hop & Jazz)
Tiffanie has been dancing at the Dance Studio of
Maine since she was 13 years old. She has been
personally trained by the director of the studio for
the last year and a half in the studio's new teacher
internship program. She has also trained with
Sheryl Murakami, Stepp Stewart, and Jermaine Brown
all nationally recognized teachers and
choreographers. She competed with the Dance
Studio of Maine's competition Hip-Hop team for many
years where she helped earn many top awards at
various regional dance competitions. Her cool
style, great technique and enthusiasm makes her a
great instructor. |
